Q: How long will it take to start the pool once I have signed the contract?
A: It will take 8-12weeks if your approval needs to go to local council (Development Application will be done by local council and Construction Certificate will be done by our private certifier).
Or
It will take 3-4 weeks if your approval is done by our private certifier (The private certifier will do a Complying Development certificate). Once we have received the approval for you pool we will be ready to start the pool excavation within 1-2 weeks, weather and external factors permitting.
Q: How long will construction of my pool take?
A:Generally 8-14 weeks weather and external factors permitting.
Q: What will I need to supply for you to build my pool?
A:Depending on your contract, you will need to supply:
- Coping pavers
- Waterline tiles
- A power supply for the pool filtration equipment. Usually 2 double power points, plus power supply for any pool lights.
- Any landscaping required around the pool area
- Pool fencing
Q: Is there anything else I need to consider while building my pool?
A:Depending on the availability of a tip site for your pool, a tip fee may be applicable.
Q: Can I look at some of your pools?
A:Yes. We can provide names and addresses of pools for you to look at or organize for us to take you to sites.
Q: How much will a pool cost?
A:Pools of Distinction cannot give a price over the phone or internet. There are many factors to building a pool that influence the cost, such as access to site, size of pool, type of interior, if the pool is built on sand or rock, if the pool is out of ground etc….

We will contact you and organize to come and meet you on site at your convenience. We will then discuss what you would like and help with any design ideas. Then we will put together a quote for you to look at, within a couple of days of meeting you.
